The army recruitment rally, which has been closed for about two and a half years due to Corona, can start from August. Army Headquarters has ordered to prepare a special recruitment calendar. Screening boards and military medical officers will be deployed for the massive recruitment rally in five months from August to December. The Army Headquarters has written a letter to the Zonal Headquarters across the country and issued orders on Thursday to fix the schedule of new recruitment rally by May 31.
Before Corona, the army used to organize recruitment rallies in two calendars from April 1 to September 30 and from October 1 to March 31. Army Recruitment Rally was going on closed since March 2020 due to Corona. The written examination of the second batch of Sainik GD in the Mahila Military Police was getting postponed. Whereas after the online application of the third batch, the further process could not start.
Questions were raised on non-recruitment of army in Lok Sabha also. On May 18, the new Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Pandey, had ordered to expedite the recruitment process. On which Colonel Training on behalf of the Integrated Headquarters of the Army has given instructions to the Zonal Headquarters to fix the schedule of maximum recruitment rally from August to December. While deciding the program, the availability of screening board and medical officers will also have to be taken care of.
The process of online registration will also have to be completed 45 days before the organization of all the rallies. Guidelines regarding the last pending rallies and recruitment examination have not been issued yet. Central Command Public Relations Officer Shantanu Singh says that Army Recruitment Headquarters Lucknow is waiting to receive this order. Headquarters will finalize its preparation as soon as the order is received.
